AS most of you may know,this is a critical time in the New York city fashion industry.
Most of us are still recovering from Fashion week.Some of us play and some of us work. So now with the COTORIE 2009 show making it's stop in New York,it's time for all Retailers and clothing brands(designers) to get right back to work. The show was packed with buyers,stylists,designers,fit models and lots of press.The hottest women lines from contemporary to hi-end showed their spring 2010 collections. So looking into the future is very exciting and a pleasure. But make no mistake FALL 2009 is no where near over.Please stay tune for all our new arrivals and updates.

One thing I've learned is that success is not accidental. You're not going to accidentally accomplish your dreams. You don't accidentally have good relationships. You won't accidentally lose twenty pounds. You have to have a plan. If you're going to get to the right destination, you've got to know where you’re going and how you are going to get there.

If you've ever been at the beach just floating in the water and relaxing, you'll notice that after a while, the current will take you far away. That's how it is in life, too. If you don't have clear-cut goals with a plan in place to accomplish those goals, you're not going to end up at the right place. You'll just float around in life easily distracted not knowing where you're headed.

Today, I encourage you to examine where you are in life. What are your goals? What is your plan? Maybe your first goal needs to be to make a plan. Do some research. Talk to people who have been successful at what you are trying to do. Ask the Lord to guide your steps and connect you with the right people. As you step in faith to accomplish your goals, I believe God will pour out His favor so that you can experience His supernatural blessing on everything you set your hand to.

Last week Thursday we went out to help a friend, Tionna Smalls celebrate her birthday before she starts a new chapter in her life. Ms. Smalls who is well known for her gossip girl site Talkdatish is now on her way to co-star in Chilli's (TLC) new reality show in Atlanta. We would like to wish her the best of luck.

No single piece in your wardrobe will be seen first or as often as your coat, so get one that fits and flatters. Stay away from dull colors and look for rich colors that can brighten up your Fall.

You can take ownership of your dreams by planning and preparing for them. Remember, success is not accidental. Where do you see yourself in your career, finances or relationships? Put some action behind what you're believing for. Maybe you don't see how it can happen in the natural. The good news is you don't have to have it all figured out. With your faith and obedience, God will work supernaturally in your situation to turn things around for good.

Believe in your dreams today. I encourage you to write down your short and long-range goals. Keep them in front of you so you will stay focused. When you make a move, God will direct your steps. He'll make sure you come across the right people, at the right time. God will give you wisdom, insight and favor as you take steps to bring your dreams to pass.

FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

Fashion’s Night Out which took place on Thurs Sept 10th, is a global retail party thrown by Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.Since retail continues to take a pummeling due to the recession. Fashion Night’s Out hopes to counter that. Seven hundred stores across the U.S. and in 11 other countries have lined up to keep their stores open late and create a party atmosphere to nudge the consumer to shop. Fe Diddy went out to Intermix and then stopped at Chanel to help celebrate Fashion's Night Out.
